Ilaria Elena Pacelli is an Italian photographer specialising in landscape and fine art photography. Her artistic research explores the emotional and symbolic dimensions of nature. Born in Turin and currently based in Germany, she creates images that transcend mere documentary representation, transforming the landscape into a contemplative space where light, atmosphere, and silence evoke the Romantic concept of the sublime.
Inspired by the expressive power of Ansel Adams, the emotional intensity of nineteenth-century Romantic painting, and the dramatic chiaroscuro of Caravaggio, her artistic practice seeks a delicate balance between beauty, mystery, and the timeless forces of nature.
Her work has been presented in international exhibition contexts, including the 2026 edition of the Milan ArtExpo Biennale at Palazzo Stampa di Soncino; ArtExpertise on Tour at the Crypt Gallery in London; ArtExpertise on Tour at Galerie Saint Roch in Paris; and Global Art Connections from Dubai to Milan, with exhibitions in both Dubai and at the Museo d'Arte e Scienza in Milan.
In 2023, she received the Bronze Award in the Landscape category at the Epson International Pano Awards, one of the world's most prestigious international competitions dedicated to panoramic photography.
